German television feature

NDR in Nordfjord, with Rolf as the carver behind the Myklebust ship.

Rolf stands at the workbench in his workshop, hands resting on it. In the foreground lies a long, half-carved stem in pale wood ending in a curled head, and behind him a large template of a dragon head hangs on the wall.

The feature aired in the magazine Ostseereport in August, with the cable car up Mount Hoven, climbing ladders on the mountainside and Viking ships. About five minutes in, Rolf stands in his workshop and talks about the dragon head and tail for the Myklebust ship, and the ornament that had to be drawn from nothing.
